Menopause care for North Carolina women, wherever you are.
Vieora is a founder led, direct pay virtual practice for women across North Carolina. No crowded waiting rooms, no seven minute visit, no driving across town to be dismissed. Just one provider, Wahiba Kartaoui, MSN, FNP-C, who treats the whole of you, from Raleigh to the coast to the mountains.
Your care, without the drive.
Perimenopause and menopause care does not require a waiting room. It requires time, attention, and a provider who reads your whole picture, and all of that travels beautifully over video. You meet with Wahiba from your home, your office, or your car between meetings, anywhere in North Carolina.
Care is offered in English, Spanish, French, and Arabic, so more women across the state can be truly heard.
The whole woman, one provider.
Perimenopause and menopause, with HRT.
Bioidentical hormone therapy for the brain fog, the sleepless nights, the mood, and the changes no one warned you about, read against your symptoms, not one lab in isolation.
Perimenopause and menopause care →GLP-1 weight management.
Medical weight management built for a body that changed in this chapter, treating the metabolism and the hormones together, and protecting your muscle as you go.
Weight management with GLP-1 →Serving women everywhere in North Carolina.
Because Vieora is one hundred percent virtual telehealth, we care for women in every city and town in North Carolina. These are just a few of the places our patients call home.
Wherever you are in the state, a city or the smallest town, you can be a Vieora patient entirely by telehealth. Wahiba also holds active licenses in Florida, Colorado, Virginia, Maryland, and California, caring for women in each of those states today.
Care from someone who has been there.
Vieora is founded and led by Wahiba Kartaoui, a board certified nurse practitioner with more than a decade of clinical experience across primary care, internal medicine, women's health, and weight management. She was among the first providers to treat women's metabolic health with GLP-1 and GIP therapy, long before it reached the mainstream conversation. She previously served as Medical Director and Vice President of Operations at Bethany Medical, a large multi-city medical group.
In 2022 and 2023 she served on the City of Durham's Mayor's Council for Women, and in 2019 she was named to the Top 100 Women Leaders in Business by the High Point Chamber of Commerce.
She understands this chapter from the inside, too. Wahiba is navigating perimenopause herself, and she has ADHD, so she knows what it is to be told you are fine while your body says otherwise. She built Vieora as the practice she went looking for and could not find, one that treats the whole woman and meets her in her own language when needed, in English, Spanish, French, or Arabic.
Everything you have been wanting to ask.
Do I have to live near a city?
No. Vieora is telehealth, so you can be anywhere in North Carolina, in a city or a small town, and receive the same unhurried, attentive care.
Is everything really done by video?
Yes. Your visits are face to face over video, and when labs are needed they are ordered to a lab near you. You never sit in a waiting room to be rushed.
What can you treat?
Perimenopause and menopause with hormone therapy, and weight and metabolic care including GLP-1 when appropriate, all read together by one provider rather than split across specialists.
Do you take insurance?
Vieora is direct pay, which keeps your visit as long as it needs to be and your care whole. Medications and any labs are billed separately and kept transparent.
What if I do not live in North Carolina?
Wahiba holds licenses in Florida, Colorado, Virginia, and Maryland as well. Apply and tell us where you are, and we will let you know the moment we can care for you.
Real women, real relief.
"I had my first visit a couple days ago and wow, I am impressed. Ms. Wahiba is very caring and sweet and listened to all my problems and concerns. I have been suffering with perimenopause symptoms like hot flashes, and I can never control my emotions anymore. Fortunately, Ms. Wahiba is very knowledgeable and ordered some blood work to follow up on. I can finally feel better about myself and my body."
North Carolina, you deserve this.
